Sr safety advisor role will be on HSE documentation and projects (in the Oil & Gas upstream sectors) with different execution stages ranging from FEED to EpC. Carry out HSE design work for large sized projects with responsibility for conceptual, FEED and detailed design and provide necessary information for Engineering Procurement & Construction in compliance with safety procedures, specifications / data sheets and within budgeted quantity, man-hour and project schedules.
Provide complete expertise as well as support to Project Management team;
Responsible for ensuring that the Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) aspects of each project are maintained to the relevant acceptable Company and international standards;
Undertake Process safety design work on projects and proposals;
lnterpret and apply Company and lndustry Design Standards to greenfield/ brownfield projects, existing production facilities (e.g., API 14C, API RP 520/521, IEC 61511, etc.);
Provide Process safety/ HSE support for greenfield/ brownfield projects including HSE philosophies, specifications for fire protection systems (Active & Passive), HFE, fire and gas detection and alarm systems, etc;
Participate in Process Hazard reviews and analysis including HAZOPIHFZID/SlL studies and responsible for Actions close-out;
Lead/Chair the HAZOPiHAZIDlSlL workshops, if required;
Responsible for review Third Party safety Studies including FERA, Dispersion analysis, EERA, ESSA, Dropped objects study, QRA studies, etc. (not limited too);
Also capable to carry out independently similar safety studies, as required;
Technical evaluation of vendor specification for safety items;
Manage and guide Junior/Senior Engineers and Designers on Concept/FEED/Detailed Engineering projects;
lnterface/Coordinate with other Engineering disciplines, Contractor and take lead in resolving technical matters related to safety aspects;
Provide inputs and support to projects in all Safety aspects including progress reports.

Perfil Pretendido

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited University;
HSE Design,safefy Workshops and review of Third party safety studies;
Minimum of 15+ year’s professional engineering experience in oil & Gas industry FEED and EPC projects;
Demonstrated proficiency in Oil & Gas process facilities, local and intemational Process safety codes and standards and regulatory i codes & standards;
Good working knowledge in PIPENET Vision, pHA pro, FLARESIM, MAROS and other consequence modelling software such as DNV PHAST etc. is needed;
Ability to influence designs to achieve optimal HSE outcomes;
Team player with leadership potential and shall have pro-active inter-discipline communication;
Excellent communication skills (listening, verbal & written) in English language.
